Iron Fist (Hebrew: חץ דורבן, Hetz Dorban, lit. "Porcupine Arrow") is a hard kill active protection system (APS) designed by Israel Military Industries (IMI). It features a modular design allowing adaptation to a range of platforms from light utility vehicles to heavy armoured fighting vehicles. The system senses incoming threats via a fixed active electronically scanned array radar sensor and an optional passive infrared detector, then launches an explosive projectile interceptor that destroys or deflects the threat by detonating its warhead.

The concept of Iron Fist was revealed by IMI in 2006 and was expected to enter Israel Defense Forces tests by mid-2007. Acquisition was approved in June 2009 for installation on several units of the Namer armoured personnel carrier. In November 2010, the Israeli ministry of defense announced the end of funding of the system development. In May 2011, the system intercepted kinetic energy penetrators and Metis anti tank missiles during a test in the U.S.
In early 2013, the MoD tested both the IMI Iron Fist and Rafael Trophy in a competition to select a single second-generation APS for IDF vehicles. At the time, Trophy was already an operational second-generation APS (deployed on Merkava tanks since 2011), while Iron Fist was still in development. After 2013 trials, completion of a second-generation APS would be completed within a few years. In December 2014, Rafael, Israel Aerospace Industries, and IMI agreed to jointly develop a next-generation active defense system, with Rafael as main contractor and IMI providing the interceptor.
In June 2016, the U.S. Army chose to test the Iron Fist Light configuration for its light and medium armored vehicles. In December 2018, the Army revealed it would install Iron Fist on M2 Bradleys of one armored brigade. The new version, Iron Fist Light Decoupled, features a new countermeasure solution with a 70% successful intercept rate and the ability to counter drones. In December 2016, BAE Systems received a contract to test Iron Fist on CV9035 infantry fighting vehicles, with procurement decided in January 2021.
